Submission Guidelines
Films should be submitted on DVD or tape and be available for screening on digital tape, DVD or 35mm film.

International films being sent from outside Canada should be be clearly labeled "NO COMMERCIAL VALUE - CULTURAL PURPOSES ONLY" on the package and/or shipping invoice.

Awards are based on overall merits of the films.

Entry fee is nonrefundable.

DVDs and Videocassettes and will not be returned.

For preview purposes, DVD or VHS (NTSC preferred).                  

DVDs cassettes must be clearly labeled with film title and contact information.                                                                         

More than one entry may be submitted. Each must be submitted separately.

Filmmaker will assume shipping costs of material and print to the Canada International Film Festival.

CIFF reserves the right to make any necessary changes in event scheduling or programming.

The selection committees' and juries' decisions are final.

All responses by CIFF will be made by email.

Official Selections will be contacted approximately one month prior to the festival.
